"Rejected Leadership"

I.  Moses' Rejected Leadership


Moses' 1st forty years (Exodus 2:11-15):
Moses learned what was worth fighting for, but not whose fight it was.


Moses' 2nd forty years (Exodus 2:16-22):
Moses learned how to shepherd a family and a flock.


Through all of Moses' years (Exodus 2:23-25):
God was working to rescue His people through Moses' spiritual leadership.






II.  God's Spiritual Leadership


Spiritual leadership (SL) principles according to God:

1. Self-assumed SL . . . isn't.
2. Brokenness is a required precursor to SL.
3. SL is learned in the obscure.
4. God is the source of SL.

Spiritual leadership development for every believer:

1. Enroll daily in Service Theological Seminary.
2. Pray for the Shepherd's heart
3. Seek to spiritually lead the flock you've got.
